All patients registering for Anima need to register under ‘Bretton medical practice’ regardless of whether they attend Bretton Medical Practice or Park Medical Centre.
NHS App
Your NHS account gives you access to certain NHS services online. You can log into your NHS account using the NHS App or the NHS website. Download the NHS app to for appointments, prescription requests, your test results, view your record securely and many more. Click on above logo for further information.
At Bretton Park Healthcare, each patient is allocated a “Usual GP” at registration. Having a ‘usual GP’ means that your named doctor will: take the lead in ensuring that we offer you all the appropriate services that we can, work with relevant associated health and social care professionals where necessary for your care.
Having a named doctor does not mean that they will be available 24 hours a day, that you will have personal access to the doctor throughout the working week or that this will be the only doctor or clinician at the practice who will provide you with care.
When doctors leave or new ones arrive the list will be divided amongst the current GPs. As a result, your usual GP may change. However, this does not affect your right to request a clinician of your choice, if available and appropriate to your care.
For the purpose of continuity of care, we encourage you to always ask for the clinician who has been handling your care. This saves time and improves your health outcomes.
